Galaxy S Training Campaign

When launching a new Galaxy S line of smart phones to multiple carriers, Samsung knew a key to a successful launch was getting in-store representatives aligned and excited about the new device. Working with Samsung, we felt the best way to get the reps as excited as we wanted consumers to be was to treat the representatives as our “first consumers.”

We designed a unique training experience that put the phone in the representatives’ hands for a literal hands-on education. We developed the training content and delivered 59 training events across the country to more than 6,200 Retail Sales Representatives and managers. And on a scale of 1 – 10, the Question, “Will you recommend this phone to your customers?” received a 9.85. Some carriers reported that the first week of sales far exceeded their original goals and the Galaxy S became Samsung’s flagship Android device.
